OMNI’S BEGINNING
Gene Puckett, Co-Founder
In 1979, Jim Riddell and Gene Puckett were looking for a better way. Both working for a large consumer packaged goods company at the time, they were facing real issues with the metal components used in their packaging and processing equipment. They were charged with investigating alternative materials and began testing urethane as a way to tackle their problems.
That’s where OMNI started.

1993 – 2019
MAKING OMNI WHAT IT IS TODAY.
In 1993, Don Culbertson joined the OMNI team as succession planning began for Jim Riddell and Gene Puckett. After 2 buyouts and several years of leading OMNI, Don had a vision to build a new state of the art facility. This would allow OMNI more opportunities to grow. In May of 2009, Don’s vision became a reality which is where we reside to this day. Although Don retired from OMNI in June of 2019, his efforts and leadership made a lasting impact on the organization.

Fast forward to today, and OMNI Technologies is an in key partner, manufacturing custom urethane components for OEMs across the packaging, food processing, aerospace, and consumer-goods industries. The same mindset of innovation and continuous improvement instilled by Jim, Gene, and Don exists today. Led by brothers Dan and Geoff Culbertson, and supported by a whole team of highly capable individuals, OMNI is ready to go to work for you.
